The noble Baroness said: My Lords, this small amendment would put in the Bill what we have been talking about. I was pleased to hear in Committee that the Minister intended to introduce secondary legislation to allow for a person registering for a postal vote before or during the election to be included on the marked postal voters list. She stated that she intended through legislation to allow the postal and proxy voter records to be supplied to political parties. The amendment would ensure that a marked list of those who had voted by post was available to political parties during the election campaign. It seemed sensible to put that in the Bill. I beg to move.
