Electoral Administration Bill

My Lords, I thank the Minister for that comprehensive reply. Who am I to argue with parliamentary counsel? There seems to be quite a bit of flexibility in what electoral registration officers do. Some are tighter than others in trying to ensure that their electoral register is accurate. It may be that the ones with the greater flexibility are the ones who are causing us the most concern. However, as the Minister has reassured me and as we now have that in Hansard, I am happy to beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
