The noble Lord said: My Lords, in moving the amendment, I shall speak also to Amendment No. 34. Both amendments are technical. The first is to make an improvement suggested by the noble Lords, Lord Hodgson, Lord de Mauley, Lord Sharman and Lord Razzall, based on the fact that a company cannot apply for its own registration. The other amendment is to ensure that the drafting of Clause 57(4) is consistent with the new drafting in Clause 57(3) and dovetails better with the new, more flexible procedure for changing company names. I beg to move.
