The Minister made some reference to my workforce working 24 hours a day. They do not on a regular basis, but during very busy times on a farm, particularly in Scotland, if the weather is right, you have to go for it. I remember that on more than one occasion my men have in fact worked at least 23 hours non-stop—that is, with a quarter of an hour every five hours to have a quick smoke, relieve themselves or have a bite to eat. Indeed, I have even taken them meals. In Scotland, particularly when the weather is bad, you need every ounce of manpower you have. However, my staff do not normally work 24 hours a day. I want to clarify that in case the Minister thinks I am a real taskmaster—I am not.
