If the noble Lord did a little more digging, he would find that in previous debates on smoking, not on this Bill, I have declared that I have no interests—I do not work for the tobacco industry, I do not smoke, I have no tobacco shares and so on. I think I declared on the Floor of the House during a previous debate that I had taken one day’s shooting from the tobacco manufacturers. Certainly if you go back to the declaration of Members’ interests you will find that that is declared. You will, however, find that when I wrote a submission after the last occasion of shooting last autumn, the Registrar, not I, decided it was not declarable. Based on that, I hope the noble Lord will withdraw his earlier assertion that I have not declared my interest.
