The noble Lord said: My Lords, in moving Amendment No. 322, I shall speak also to Amendments Nos. 323 and 324. We listened carefully in Grand Committee to arguments put forward about the potential liability of the senior statutory auditor. We cannot but accept that there is a risk that auditors will fear that they may attract extra liability from some aspect of their role as senior statutory auditor, besides signing their name to the audit report. We have tabled Amendment No. 322, which I hope covers the concerns raised. I hope that the noble Baroness will not feel the need to press the other amendments in the group. I beg to move.
