Work and Families Bill

My Lords, I certainly agree with what the Minister has said and am interested in his remark that there might be an alternative way of dealing with this, which I will find out more about in due course. Could he at some stage give me an idea of how the consultation is going? As he knows, we loathe having to pass Bills before knowing what the consultation outcomes and regulations are. They just come out, and there ought to be a definitive time by which this must end. I do not know why Bills cannot be timetabled to be dealt with after all that has finished. Having said that, I beg leave to withdraw my amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 14 not moved.] Clause 13, as amended, agreed to.
