National Lottery Bill

Proceeding contribution from Viscount Astor (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 24 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bills on National Lottery Bill.
My Lords, this means that the distributing body has a balance and the interest that is earned on that will be shared out. I suppose that one could regard that as a principle that the Government have operated in many instances in many worlds, such as pensions and savings. At least the Minister has been consistent. I see that I will not make progress on this and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 11 [Distributing bodies: publicity]:
