Health Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Skidelsky (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 20 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
I support what the noble Lord, Lord Monson, just said. It is ““more than one person””, which can mean two persons. Although this is a good amendment, I would go further. What is the rationale for not allowing two people who both smoke to share an office and smoke? It cannot at that point be that it is endangering the health of non-smokers. The clause is very restrictive.
