Health Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Naseby (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 20 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
The noble Lord lectured us on sticking to the amendment. That amendment does not refer to the Labour manifesto. Either we will stick to the amendment or we will pick and choose what we will do. I should be most grateful if he would make it clear to the Committee—especially those of us who have not had his experience of taking a Bill through Committee—whether he will pick and choose or rigidly stick to the amendment.
