Amendment No. A231A would make the wording in the clause different from that in Clause 76, which uses the wording of the provision it replaces; that is, Section 32(1) of the 1985 Act. The removal of the words at issue would narrow the scope of the clause; for example, the activities of businesses trading as Luxury Holidays and as Spartan Holidays might be similar, but the nature of their activities would probably be very different.
