The noble Lord said: Clause 759 provided that an officer of a company, such as a director, or a person employed by a company as auditor may apply to the court for relief from liability for negligence, default, breach of duty or breach of trust. Clause 759(4) restates Section 727(3) of the Companies Act 1985, the only change being the inclusion of wording appropriate for Scotland. This amendment is for the same reason. I beg to move.
