The noble Lord said: In moving Amendment No. A204AB, I shall speak also Amendment No. A205A concerning Schedules 6 and 7. These schedules use the terms ““traded”” as defined in Clause 754 and ““non-traded”” in relation to company communications; whereas Parts 13, 15 and 16 of the Bill use ““quoted”” and ““non-quoted”” as defined in Clause 358. There is a subtle distinction between a company which is traded and one which is quoted, and we question whether there is a policy or regulatory reason for the distinction. If there is not, to avoid confusion we believe that these terms should be conformed to minimise potential difficulties going forward. That is the purpose of these amendments. I beg to move.
