I am glad that we were not bowled a fast ball. The trouble with the Minister’s argument is that nothing is ever onerous in and of itself, it is the accumulation of straws on the camel’s back. Of course one cannot argue that this is onerous, but I hope that we continue to strike away at all the stuff that clutters up a company’s life. If this is not in the present companies legislation and has therefore not proved to be hugely damaging to creditors, appliers, customers, members and so forth, I hope that the Minister will ask the Bill team whether we could just take this small barnacle off the ship of state in order in a minuscule way to increase our speed through the water.
