moved Amendment No. A123A:"Page 290, line 34, leave out ““It must do so”” and insert ““The obligation imposed by subsection (3) must be fulfilled””"
The noble Lord said: In moving Amendment No. A123A, I shall speak also to Amendment No. A124. The amendment simply seeks to improve the current wording of the Bill. Subsection (4) does not really make sense. It reads:"““It must do so within the period of three days after the information is received by it””."
Who must do so? What must it do? Our amendment seeks to make it clear what must be done and by whom by including a reference to subsection (3). Amendment No. A124 is to correct a simple typo, replacing ““or”” with ““of””. I beg to move.
