I am grateful to the Minister, but I do not see why it should be in the nature of devolution that you should have twice the maximum offence in England and Wales as in Scotland and Northern Ireland. That seems to be nothing to do with devolution at all. If that is what the case should carry in those jurisdictions, it should be the same in England and Wales. I am sure that this element of the West Lothian question is not going to address itself happily to the Minister this afternoon. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
