moved Amendment No. A67B:"Page 268, line 15, leave out ““(apart from subsection (2A))””"
The noble Lord said: We are on the same clause, but I am glad to say that I can be briefer on this amendment. New subsection (2B) does not, in our opinion, make sense. Why is new subsection (2A) excluded from the provisions? There appears to be no reason to single out new subsection (2A) as exempt from the company’s articles. This is a probing amendment and I hope that the Minister will give us some illumination on the logic behind this attack on new subsection (2A). I beg to move.
