Buses (Deregulation)

Proceeding contribution from John Leech (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 15 March 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Buses (Deregulation).
: I accept that new buses have been constructed, but they tend to be put on the most profitable routes. All the old dodgy buses are left on routes that struggle to get passengers, creating a situation in which people are discouraged from using those less profitable routes.
