I have added my name to this stand part Motion for all the reasons that the noble Baroness, Lady Goudie, has stated. Annual agreements will be bureaucratic. In particular, they will put a disproportionate burden on small companies. Are the Government determined to keep the bureaucracy for larger companies, for quoted companies or just companies that are not small companies? Will they consider restricting the clause by one of the various size criteria of which there are several in the Bill already?
