Company Law Reform Bill [HL]

I have added my name to the amendments in this group. There is considerable concern that the list of matters is too restrictive, and the court needs to be able to take a much wider view of matters that are relevant other than those specifically related to the auditor’s responsibilities, contractual obligations and professional standards. I hope the Government will see that the amendments being proposed, which either take the list out or use the word ““including””, will give the courts more flexibility, which is necessary.
