The right reverend Prelate said: I rise only to say that I am grateful to the Minister for his commitment to conduct openly and clearly any renegotiation, should these cases ever arise. I am also grateful to the noble Lord, Lord Clement-Jones, for his encouragement. At this stage I am happy not to press the amendment tabled in my name, but given the welcome it has received this evening, I am encouraged to bring it back.
