The Minister does not require the assistance or protection of the Chair. I can inform the House that the note passed to me was drawing my attention to the fact that my hon. Friend the Member for Lewisham, West (Jim Dowd) was trying to intervene, because I had not noticed. I shall be happy to pass the note to the right hon. Member for Bromley and Chislehurst.
