The noble Lord said: In moving Amendment No. 245 I shall speak also to Amendment No. 246. Amendment No. 245 provides consistency with the approach adopted throughout the rest of the Bill in respect of references to the negative resolution procedure as defined in Clause 875. Amendment No. 246 removes certain unnecessary words. Chapter 4 of Part 10 no longer imposes any criminal offences, so there is no need to make provision for criminal liability before any financial limits in that chapter are raised. I beg to move.
