moved Amendment No. 219:"Page 93, line 11, at end insert ““, and includes the terms of any agreement or arrangement under which a person is appointed as a director of the company, whether or not they provide for the performance of services outside the ordinary duties of a director””"
The noble Lord said: Amendment No. 220 would remove subsection (2), and Amendment No. 219 would provide a clearer text. I hope the Minister will not believe that we are seeking to change the thrust of Clause 205; we are simply attempting to tidy it up. There are grounds for concern and confusion. I would be grateful for the Minister’s views. I beg to move.
