Company Law Reform Bill

I am grateful to the noble Lord. His suggestion is an excellent one, depending on what the Attorney-General says at the end of this brief debate. I will just for the record read out what the cross-reference is to. It is to the,"““care, skill and diligence that would be exercised by a reasonably diligent person””," and to,"““the general knowledge, skill and experience . . . that the director has””." I am not suggesting specific words, but the record will reveal when I read it what the noble Lord, Lord Wedderburn, suggested. I think that cross-referring back is a constructive suggestion. I very much welcome what the noble Lord has said.
