I support the amendment moved by the noble Lord, Lord Hodgson, and have nothing further to add to his very eloquent speech. I remind Ministers that 40 per cent of all shareholding is in nominee shareholder accounts. The Government have gone out of their way to encourage us all to invest in wonderful PEPs and ISAs, and savings are sewn up like that; but we have no rights to exercise in those shareholdings at all. So I very much support what was said in that regard.
My Amendments Nos. 133 and 134 are in a different grouping, but they relate to the same clause and go to the same purpose.
