I am grateful to the Minister. Clearly, nowadays paid-up share capital is not of great concern to major creditors and, in a way, has only symbolic value. But, in my view, to say that we are achieving the right balance in the appearance of a public company with paid-up capital of £12,500 defies belief. But there we are. I do not think that I am going to shift the Government this afternoon and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
