Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill

I hope that the Minister will forgive me for intervening yet again, but his response has convinced me that my concern about this particular part of the Bill is correct. He has convinced me that the Bill itself and the purposes of Natural England are looking backwards. We cannot afford to look backwards any longer; we have heard enough today about the problems of global warming, what is likely to happen to the Iceland ice cap, and so on. Those issues are not mentioned but they will cause fundamental and huge problems for our natural England which, if it is allowed to continue, courtesy of some government agency, will not be natural at all. Fortunately, my next amendment has already been debated; I do not need to say any more except that the Minister has confirmed that there is a need for some urgent discussions.
