I support my noble friend’s amendment. It makes more sense for the general purposes of Natural England, if that is its title. I doubt whether it should be and I hope that we may do something about it at a later stage of the Bill. More importantly, the general purposes outlined in this clause are, in my view, deficient. Amendment No. 112, which follows this amendment in the Marshalled List, was debated a few evenings ago. It seems to me that this amendment is helpful and well designed. It certainly merits support.
