I thank the Minister for that reply. We only refer to the Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee when it suits us, not when we choose to take a slightly different line in amendments. I think that I understand what the Minister said. I am not sure that I fully understand why there needs to be a power to amend any future legislation, because that legislation could make whatever consequential adjustments were necessary.
