Consumer Credit Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord De Mauley (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 18 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bills on Consumer Credit Bill.
My Lords, I thank the Minister for his response. I do not agree with all that he said; indeed, I recognise much of his wording from Grand Committee, which I had sought to contradict. As we discussed, we will not pursue the matter this evening. I will read the Minister’s comments carefully and I hope that he will do me the courtesy of reading mine. Meanwhile, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
