I thank my noble friend for her sympathetic response. I look forward to reading it in Hansard. I am sure, however, that we will return to some of these issues, if not in the context of this Bill, then when the House debates the report of the committee, which raises the issue of the EU convention. I am also certain that the issue of how illegal workers can become legal will be raised again and again because it is important, even if it cannot be dealt with in the context of this Bill. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
