The question is, should it be balanced and, if so, how? That may be an important factor which brings in the memorandum of understanding for our courts will look to Strasbourg, to some degree, in deliberating their views on the memorandum of understanding. I do not think that we can separate this process entirely. As for being politically motivated, yes, the protection of citizens is politically motivated. We are politicians; it is our job to make sure that we keep our nation safe. I make no apology whatever for that.
