I very strongly support in principle the amendments proposed by the noble Baroness, Lady Walmsley, in that I believe that there ought to be monitoring and research. After all, almost every other public service that we deliver is subject to some sort of independent test of the outcomes. Is CAFCASS not so subject—and if not, why not? I think that it probably ought to be. I defer to my noble friend, however, who may tell me afterwards, perhaps over a drink.
