Once again, I am grateful to the Minister for his reply. I am glad that the CBI, the Federation of Small Businesses and the Institution of Civil Engineers were consulted. There has been a great deal of consultation prior to the appearance of the Bill in your Lordships’ House. That is why we are having, I hope, a fairly short Committee stage. I am equally glad to hear that the businesses will be considered in future.
The Welsh economy is very important historically, in the personal lives and experience of some Members of the Committee. There is a danger that the connection between a first-class transport system and the well-being of the economy tends to be forgotten. One takes advantage of every opportunity to stress how important the transport network is in every area to the continued success of the Welsh economy. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
