Equality Bill [Lords]

My hon. Friend talks about defining terms. What would she say to a lady in my constituency who told me,"““I am being brought inside the protection of the law. It’s good to know that the protection is there and that we are considered to be part of human society””?" Is that political correctness or human rights?
