The use of the word ““or”” in clause 5(1) is important.—[Interruption.] It says:"““A person commits an offence if, with the intention of . . . committing acts or terrorism, or . . . assisting another to commit such acts””."
Surely financing someone who plans to commit a terrorist act constitutes giving useful assistance to that person.
