Charities Bill [HL]

Proceeding contribution from Lord Phillips of Sudbury (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 12 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills on Charities Bill [HL].
My Lords, will the Minister give a specific assurance that, if gaps are found in the lists of appeals that should be made, there will be rapid action to put that right? Otherwise people will be prevented from getting their remedy. The noble Lord, Lord Hodgson, makes a powerful point.
