I thank the noble and learned Lord the Attorney-General for his reply. This was a probing amendment. I am entirely satisfied with the noble and learned Lord’s response. I can see the force of his argument about consistency in relation to theft and fraud; and I also accept that there are a range of other measures that can catch the problems to which confidential information gives rise. In those circumstances, I will not be bringing these amendments back on Report. I beg leave to withdraw.
