No, I hope they would not. The hon. Gentleman is picking up a hoary old story, but, if he wishes, I shall respond. We believe that, over time, we should move the age of majority for many events to 16. We have also made it clear that, in the current climate of binge drinking, it would be irresponsible to do what the hon. Gentleman suggests.
