Answer

Mr. Singh: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what consultations he (a) has had and (b) plans to have with his EU counterparts on his proposal to ban the sale of unpasteurised milk. [31307] Mr. Rooker: None. If we proceed with the proposal to ban sales of raw cows drinking milk, we should need to make a formal notification of the proposed draft measure to the European Commission who will be responsible for informing other member states.
