What incidence of BSE-related contamination in dairy products has been reported to his Department in each of the last three years; and if he will publish such reports.

Answer

Mr. Campbell-Savours: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what incidence of BSE-related contamination in dairy products has been reported to his Department in each of the last three years; and if he will publish such reports. [40] Mr. Rooker: No BSE infectivity has ever been detected in cows milk including milk from animals clinically affected by BSE, nor has it been found in bovine mammary gland tissues.
