Question

To ask Her Majesty's Government further to the Written Answer by Lord Darzi of Denham on 16 June (WA 198), whether officials in the Department of Health suggested to the Association of British Insurers that the association hold meetings with officers of the Macfarlane Trust.

Answer

The department has not suggested to the Association of British Insurers that it should hold meetings with the MacFarlane Trust. The association is free to meet the trust if it chooses.
