The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has advised me that its Horizon Scanning Panel is aware of potential licence applications and informs the authority accordingly. The latest horizon scanning report can be found on the HFEA's website at www.hfea.gov.uk/157.html.
