I am advised by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority that the guidance in the sixth edition of its code of practice, published in January 2004, provided information in line with the guidance set out in the Declaration of Helsinki, in respect of information for women donating eggs for research and the general obligations relating to consent.
