BOVINE TUBERCULOSIS (No. 3)

Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Daniel Kawczynski (Conservative), on Wednesday, 15 February 2006, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 24 members in total.
That this House notes that it can be over one month between a cow being diagnosed with tuberculosis and taken to slaughter; further notes that the cow must be kept in solitary confinement during that time; shows concern for the welfare of the animal in such a situation; and calls on the Government to take action to decrease the period between diagnosis of tuberculosis and slaughter.
