The Lords sponsor for this bill at introduction was Lord Keen of Elie. Lord Keen resigned his post of Advocate General for Scotland in September 2020 and Lord Stewart of Dirleton was appointed in his place on 15 October 2020. While Lord Stewart led the debate on these Commons Amendments on 19 November 2020, there was no Lords sponsor when the bill was printed.
